Gamesys gears up for foray into mobile gaming

Gamesys Group is gearing up to deliver its games on mobile handsets. The offering will be based on its existing Jackpotjoy game portfolio.

The company, which owns the online instant win and bingo site Jackpotjoy brand, has selected Rapid Mobile Media's application and service delivery software platforms, ThinkPhone and Active Provisioning, for its foray into mobile domain.

Bodog goes mobile, to offer five casino games

Online gambling website BodogLife.com has recently introduced its mobile service, designing versions specifically for various handsets including BlackBerry smartphones.  

According to BodogLife.com, players can use their existing Bodog player account information and can play company's casino games on their mobile device.

IGT-UK recently acquired Manchester-based mobile gaming company Million-2-1 to mark its foray into the mobile gaming market.

Post this transaction, Chris Sheffield, CEO, Million-2-1, has been chosen for the new role with IGT-UK as Director and General Manager of the company's remote gaming business, reporting to Robert White, IGT-UK Managing Director.
