Burnley Football Club has signed a shirt sponsorship deal with Welton Holdings Limited’s Fun88. Financial details weren’t disclosed.
The online gambling and entertainment company operates a fully registered online casino and sportsbook. The deal will result in Fun88’s name on the club’s home and away shirts. The club shared that it is for the first time Burnley has attracted international interest and it is also the biggest shirt sponsorship deal Clarets’ history.
Nick Lee, spokesman for Welton Holdings Limited, said, “Sponsoring Burnley is in line with Fun88’s ambitions to move our brand to the next level in Asia, as well as giving Fun88 a key platform to reach out to the European market where it intends to penetrate in the next season.”
As part of the club sponsorship Fun88 will be launching a number of marketing initiatives in the next few months.
